This is the second time that I and my family have used Hardman & McManus and I would most certainly use them again. Their kindness and compassion are evident from the moment you contact them, and this is of great help during such a sad time. Michelle who worked in the office explained every option available for my mother’s funeral, made sure that all costs were made clear, and gave us advice on how things would be handled right up to the funeral itself.

On the day of the funeral, the team, led by Victoria made sure that everything ran smoothly – guiding us through every step of the day. Throughout they were respectful and professional but with a touch of personal warmth that was a great comfort. I would also like to mention our driver, Thalia who looked after us on the journey to the crematorium and brought us back to the house afterwards.

I was called by Michelle the day after, in order to make sure that everything had gone to plan and that I was happy with the service. I can truly say that I was and would like to say a big thank you to all of their staff for making such a difficult time easier to get through.

Michelle was my first contact at hardmans & McManus funeral home Bolton. I didn’t have an appointment prior to my visitation but instead of her to turn me back, she listened to me, attended to me and finally booked an appointment for me to return and discuss my mums funeral and cost. Michelle didn’t treat me like a client, she treated me like her own child. She was empathetic, caring and was always looking out for me. I’m so glad I followed my instinct and went to hardmans and McManus. It was such a great and splendid experience. If I could give 10 stars for the brilliant service offered, I would. Excellent service, brilliant staffs, affordable cost. Thank you Michelle at hardmans and McManus and all the other funeral directors.
