When we attended the funeral home in Whitchurch [Cardiff] and met with Beth Wookie, we were put at ease. We had not been through this before and had our elderly mum [the widow] with us who is frail and partially sighted. We were not looking forward to the process but the support, understanding and care we received from Beth there was outstanding, she made us all feel as though everything would run smoothly.

During the process we had some complications with the coroner becoming involved. To help us chase things up and maintain our planned funeral date Beth was proactive and kept us fully up to date with every aspect of the process. This was so reassuring for us - it took a lot of stress away from us at this difficult time. to say we were treated with the utmost respect and dignity for us and for our loss would be an understatement.

As well as Beth's outstanding support we must also praise Neil who directed the service on the day. His respect for our dear departed father and for us during the funeral was amazing. His team of drivers were also amazing and made a difficult day run as smoothly as we could have hoped for.

Altogether we were delighted with the service we received. We were chaperoned through the whole process with full support and treated with dignity and respect. Thank you so much on behalf of our family.

James Summers are what funeral services are all about. They took such wonderful care of us and my deceased elderly mother that no words can really express our gratitude. Beth at the funeral directors in Whitchurch put us at ease and guided us through the process. Karen wrote and gave the eulogy at the service itself and David guided us at the crematorium on the day. Nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this funeral director and will use them in the future.
The rose left on my mother's pillow still makes me emotional, what a lovely touch.
