I cannot recommend Co-Op Funeral Services more highly. Having used their services in the past we had no hesitation this time and the whole process was handled with such compassion and full consideration for our wishes.
Nothing was too much trouble and we were never rushed, any alterations were no problem. Sophie-George is very patient and everything was dealt with in a very respectful and dignified manner.
We always felt we were in good hands. Thank you for guiding us through a painful process enabling us to say goodbye to our Mum in a way we can remember with pride.

Excellent service. The funeral director kept me informed at all stages of the process. The website is very easy to navigate, and is open and upfront about the costs and options for each of the different types of funeral on offer. This helped me make an informed decision at a difficult time without having to trawl through pages of small print.

We found everyone exceptionally helpful, caring & professional.
From Wendy & Tim explaining the procedure then putting everything into action.

Evette who carried out the service, her emotional eulogy was a real tribute to Don, he would have been very proud.

Matt & team were very courteous & caring.
Waited for us all to assemble.
Some relatives travelled long distances which caused slight delays.
Matt reassured us nothing would start until  all were there.
No pressure only sympathy & kindness.

We used the Co-op funeral care for my mother back in 1994
would never go anywhere else.

Funeral was very simple, but not particularly happy that on the day the funeral director was commenting to attendees that it was unorganised. They had not tried more than once to contact us, a theme that unfortunately was true through the whole process. We were practically thrown out of the funeral at the end of the 45 minutes and warned we would be locked in the car park. However, other guests stayed for 45 mins after that as the funeral next to us was allowed to overrun by 45 mins. The price was also increased three days before the funeral, which I believe to be dishonest as it was not our fault it took a month for the earliest slot and the price should have been honoured even though prices had increased. Would not overly recommend I'm afraid.
