Samantha was very friendly and understanding. My son and I both felt we could trust her to carry out our wishes which she did. The help from the team was very good and we were able to raise our queries with them. Samantha was the person who was in charge on the day of the funeral and everything went very smoothly.

Re my Fathers recent funeral. I have to say that Kerry was a fantastic help to me. My Father died in the UK, and I live in New Zealand. Due to COVID I was unable to come back. However Kerry fully understood this. And has done more than asked. Way more. She has been very kind during this process. I fully recommend Hallet and Perring Funeral services as a result.

Following my mums death on the 12th Feb we were unfortunately out of the country on our return 14th Feb my wife Kay made contact with yourselves (Caroline) and was told that you would inform the registrar of her death and forward required paperwork. An appt was made at your office Wed 16th Feb where we met Christine, who informed us that we needed to contact the registrar not yourselves. So mixed information very confusing never having to have dealt with a death funeral in the past.
We were also told that we would be informed when the cremation was to take place. We were not informed and when we sent an email on Thursday 3rd March asking for an update. On the same day we received a phone call to say that the cremation had already taken place on the 1st March. 
Your service has been way short of what we expected from your company at the difficult distressing time. I look forward to your response.

From our first enquiry to the end of the funeral service we had excellent and helpful communication with Sam and Chris at Hallet and Perring. After helping us with our choices and decisions, they kept in touch to check we were ok and to reassure us that between us we were ready for the day of Dad’s funeral. 

They made the right suggestion of choice of celebrant, Chas, who visited us at home to explain how the funeral would run, patiently listened to what we wanted of the service and guided us through the event with understanding and a wonderful delivery. 

We would like to thank Hallet and Perring very much for their care of our father and ourselves at a very emotional time.
