Would highly recommend Northcott brothers. The service they provide is so professional but with a real human touch to guide you through the process. Nothing was too much trouble and we were constantly kept updated on how things were going. We were looked after by Sabina who was fantastic.

I was initially a little bit anxious about the fact that Sabina was new in the office. I needn't have worried. She and her team bent over backwards to accommodate all our wishes. She was well organised, with attention to detail, but also had a warmth and gentle humour, very much appreciated by me at that difficult time. The funeral was a celebration, with happy memories.

Greg and his team were absolutely fantastic. I hadn’t organised a funeral before and they guided me through the whole process from start to finish, both professionally and with compassion. Nothing was too much effort. I now know why they have such great reviews, from first hand experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A very professional company with knowledgeable staff who kept us informed every step of the way. Dealt very quickly and compassionately with my sister and I and went out of their way to accommodate Dad's final requests. Shame they don't do online charitable donations.

The service provided by Northcott Brothers was excellent in every aspect, we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who has a family bereavement. Special mention should go to Greg and Sonia, who were both caring and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. The funeral event itself was very well managed, with many thanks going to Zoe the Celebrant for her advice on preparing for the service, which was carried out with exactly the right tone and level of respect for the occasion.

From the initial sympathetic discussions about what we wanted from their services, which they then actually delivered, we were always kept informed in a caring but efficient way. They took away the stress of organising my mother's funeral arrangements and replaced it with a trustworthy and helpful service.

Kirsty and Sonia were amazing I’m so grateful to them they help me register his death and looked after us and him, they made sure myself and my family were ok always checking on us and they helped us so much and the service was amazing with the sheets were lovely and so was the flowers they looked beautiful

From the first moment I walked in their welcoming door, distressed and with no idea what we needed to do now for Mum, I and our family have been guided through the whole process with the utmost professionalism and true compassion. Sonia and Kirsty have led us through these difficult weeks, and the many choices to be made, with both great sensitivity and attention to detail. In addition to our scheduled meetings, they were always on hand to help and reassure, and we - and Mum- couldn't have been in better hands. As for the day itself, the service sheets and the flowers were truly beautiful, and the service itself, including the transport, was managed superbly and with their characteristic sensitivity and professionalism; sincere thanks also to Simon for his overseeing on the day. We really can't praise them enough!

Kirsty Price at Northcotts Bros of Sidmouth (A J Wakelys) is the epitome of all that one could ask or wish for in a Funeral Director.  A perfect blend of compassion, expertise, generous but not overbearing concern, advice and a deep understanding of the myriad effects and impacts bereavement generates within each one of us.  Kirsty and all the team at Northcotts are a shining example of the vocational nature of the role of Funeral Director - we were held, supported, encouraged and enabled to create the funeral we wanted, and needed, for our family.  We could not have mourned, remembered or celebrated a life that had come to its end as well as we did without Kirsty’s care and guidance.
