We approached Northcott Brothers because of their strong local reputation. We met Sabina to discuss arrangements for my mother. Sabina was extremely caring, kind and patiently explored many options with us. There was no pressure, just an immeasurable amount of patience. We can only say that the whole process of Mum's funeral arrangements were dealt with very professionally and with a big heart. At the crematorium the whole funeral team looked immaculate and handled themselves with great professionalism. We absolutely recommend their services without hesitation. Thank you to you all.

I would like to thank Northcott Brothers for the dignified & respectful way they treated both myself & my family, & the way my husband Keith was looked after whilst in their care. Mourners told me it was the best funeral they'd ever attended & I would have to agree. It was a real Celebration of Life & everything ran so smoothly & to plan. We were treated with empathy at all times, & nothing was too much trouble for 'B' & her team. She looked amazing on the day, as did the Palm Bearers. We shall never forget. From the day Lynn died, Boxing Day 2035, we were afforded timely and courteous attention. Sabina Rhodes, who patiently accommodated all the family's requests, enabled us to achieve the funeral Lynn had specified.

From the very morning my mother passed, until her final journey, Sabina and all at Northcutts\ AJ Wakely, were excellent. If i had to use one word to describe them, I would choose respectful, and that mattered so much more than I would’ve ever expected before losing either of my parents. I would also say professional, caring, the judgement to walk the right balance between nudging us along when we needed to be nudged and giving us space and flexibility. They made a sad time as smooth as it could be. Thank you.

Faith made contact with at Northcott Brothers quite soon after she had been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. A meeting was arranged by B for Faith and myself (partner) to discuss the various requirements and options for "when the time" came. At our meeting B explained everything very well in a most caring way helping Faith decide what she wanted without any pressure whatsoever.

During the following months Faith was in touch with B to make sure everything would be "in place" for when she died.

After Faith died (very peacefully at home, with huge thanks to Sidmouth Hospice at Home); the staff collected her very efficiently, but respectfully which I appreciated very much at a very emotional moment.

The next day B met with myself and Faith's daughter to put plans in place. We were particularly pleased to be able to visit Faith at the chapel of rest on the premises and that details like having the flowers and music for the direct cremation were taken care of with careful attention to detail. B was very careful to make sure we knew the date and time of the direct cremation that had been planned.

I was pleased to collect the flowers and ashes soon after the cremation. I was also pleased to see Faith's name on the list of cremations at the East Devon crematorium. I visited the crematorium gardens with a mutual friend that afternoon to remember Faith.

I was delighted with the care and compassion together with the efficient service from B, Kimberly and all the staff at Northcott Brothers. They are to be congratulated.
