I am so glad I chose Christophers Family Funerals. From the moment I stepped into the funeral home I knew we were in good hands. It was such a caring team and very much a personalised service. Nothing was too much trouble and the team really took the time to listen and guide us through. Julie, Tom, Tony and Kian pulled out all the stops to provide exactly what we wanted, a natural woodland burial. Even to the point of arranging it for Winter Solstice day which was a Sunday. The team couldnt have done more . All in all I would recommend Christophers to anyone.

About Us

Christophers' Family Funerals in Newton Abbot, Devon, have served the local community with funeral arrangements and expert guidance for over 175 years. The Christophers are now in their sixth generation in the funeral profession and are able to help with every aspect of arranging your loved one's funeral.

Funeral services of all religious faiths and denominations are welcome, as are non-religious and humanist celebrations of life. Christophers' are happy to help in arranging traditional burials, woodland and green burials as well as cremations and low cost funerals to fit any budget.

There is a wide variety of coffins, caskets and urns to choose from, ranging from solid hardwoods and veneers through to environmentally friendly materials including wicker, bamboo and cardboard. The choice of funeral transport ranges from a modern hearse and limousines, to horse-drawn and motorcycle hearses.

Christophers' Family Funerals have their own hall in Newton Abbot which can accommodate up to 60 people and they will happily arrange a service there to suit any style or length you might want for your loved one.

The Newton Abbot funeral home is open from 9am to 2pm with 24 hour a day support available via telephone. There is a comfortable chapel of rest where you can spend time with your loved one in peace, and meeting rooms where you can discuss funeral arrangements in private. Home visits are available by appointment.

    All the staff at Christophers were amazing, we were looked after very well.
