Dad was treat with the utmost of respect and dignity by all staff. Joanne was exceptional in arranging the funeral and nothing was too much trouble. The funeral director was so kind and efficient I was quite confident and totally confident in their services and care. Everything went like clockwork which helped us to grieve and lay my husband to rest after such a shock from which we are still reeling and coming to terms with, suddenly he was gone such a shock.

I would recommend the Co-op at Consett to anyone who has to organise a funeral. Barbara was sympathetic, practical and put us all at ease. She is totally professional, and talked us through the process, answering all our questions. We felt that we were being well looked after, and that our loved one was in the best hands. The girls at the Consett office were lovely, very helpful and we felt the service over all was very personal. This is so important when you are going through this difficult time.

From my first phone call right through to the actual funeral we couldn't have asked for a better service than with the Co-op Funeral Care at Consett.
Everyone was so caring and supportive especially with regard to my 98 year old mum who had to leave hospital for the day to go and visit her son's body and then the same again for the funeral.They all made sure that all the arrangements were taken care of really well and were personally so kind and helpful. From meeting Tracey our funeral director and the team who work from Gibson House in Consett, they provided a professional and empathetic service. Nothing was too much trouble, our wishes were followed to the letter, and they did everything possible to ensure the day went as smoothly as possible. They are great ambassadors for the Co Op funeral services.
