Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Everything was handled very well and the funeral went very smoothly on the day. Mike Skinner the funeral director was very kind and sympathetic and listened really well to the family's wishes and made sure they were followed through on. Everything organised by Coop was first class - thank you.

I can't thank Co-op Funeralcare, Downend enough for the caring and sensitive way they dealt with my wife's funeral arrangements. I was kept informed at every step and all my requests and questions listened to and answered. It was a lovely Service and special thanks to Sara, for helping me with the arrangements and to Mark for his help on the day. Also, thanks to the celebrant, Sam, for her tribute. I have a funeral plan in place for myself with them and am reassured that I will be in good hands.
