Mike and his team have been brilliant throughout this whole process.  He explained everything very clearly beforehand and has been extremely supportive throughout.  I particularly appreciated his call the day after dad’s funeral to check we were all ok.
I cannot recommend the Co-op Funeral Service at Downend highly enough.

The team at Downend were absolutely amazing from start to finish.
Sara went over and above to gain information required and even when change from burial to cremation nothing was to much to get it all sorted in time.

We couldn’t of asked for a better funeral director to have done my husband funeral. Especially Mark who went the extra mile to make the progress go smoothly and nothing was to much trouble also the rest of the team was also very helpful. Helen was so caring, supportive and helpful when guiding me through organising the best and most suitable funeral for James. She often called me to make sure I was doing ok as well as keeping me updated on all the plans and the processes which needed to happen.
On the day of the funeral Mark came to our house and supported me from the start as well as my family. He explained each part of the day and everything which was happening. Mark was very kind, caring and his gentle nature made the day feel that little bit easier. Mark and Helen have always been very welcoming as well as Sara at the Downend co op funeral care branch.

Exceptionally kind, caring and a sincere gentle process  with a great amount of respect was given to us as a family by lynne at the Downend branch. Mike at the branch also led the funeral proceedings on the morning, he too took great care of us.The Minister Peter Davies who was recommended by the Downend branch took the service and was a true gentleman. He carried out our wishes to deliver an elegant and individual representation of my lovely mum.
