All arrangements leading up to, and on the day of the funeral were handled very well. What was disappointing was to arrive at a pre-arranged appointment to collect my late father's casket to find that the Bucksburn office was locked and in darkness. Apparently due to staff changes and duplication of arrangements by another member of staff.

The undertakers were brilliant used them for my mum and my dad I was so sad about losing my mum but the staff just seen to everything for us it was 100 percent great service and the rooms they use are so peaceful and just lovely thanks again for everything

First class service from first to last. Our Funeral Director Colin Forbes was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. 
Walking in front of the hearse for a bit as we left the church was a lovely touch and as my 91 year old father had forgotten his walking stick Colin gave him his staff when we got to the cemetery. 
The final act of total caring and kindness was when at the graveside the rain came on. Colin took off his coat and put it around my dad’s shoulders as he only on his suit.
Colin is a credit to William Gilchrist and many many thanks to you all for making the loss of our loved one as bearable as possible.
